AWS MCP Agents Hackathon 2025 Winner

San Francisco 🇺🇸

While on a 2 week trip to San Francisco, I had the opportunity to participate in the AWS MCP Agents Hackathon. The hackathon focused on building AI agents which was a first for me and an interesting switch from my usual work in web and mobile development.

I took on the challenge and built ScoutWise, an AI agent that helps users find suitable rental properties based on their preferences. The agent uses sponsor APIs to gather data, analyze it, and cold call property listers on behalf of the user to negotiate better deals. The agent also provides a summary of the property and its surroundings, making it easier for users to make informed decisions.

Project Lead, Tech Lead

Singapore, India 🇸🇬 🇮🇳

STEER is an app designed to help enable and encourage ecotourism in the Himalayas. Following a study trip to this region, I pulled together a team of friends to work on creating this app with the goal of helping the locals address the challenges with sustainable tourism.

The project has been a great opportunity for me to develop skills in product design, mobile development, team management and leadership, to name a few. During my time, we managed to secure funding from the Centre of Computing for Social Good and Philanthropy at NUS, built a prototype, and conducted a pilot test with a local NGO. The app has now been handed over to a junior team at NUS for further development.

Homely 🏠

CLA Business Plan Challenge 2023 Winner

Singapore 🇸🇬

Homely is a platform to connect home repair service providers with residents. When 2 business friends approached me, an aspiring technopreneur to help build this product, the only obvious answer was yes.

We began by getting some validation for the idea and did so by talking to residents and repairmen and entering a business plan challenge. As a developer by training, this was an exciting venture out of my comfort zone. Winning the challenge after the multiple rounds of evaluations and pitches was the icing on the cake, and a great validation of the idea and our work.

Singapore Airlines App Challenge 2023 Finalist

Singapore 🇸🇬

Audex is a mobile application designed to offer an immersive and interactive audio experience that transforms your in-flight experience into an exciting travel adventure. Audex offers users a preview of their destination, through personalised audio guides and recommendations catered to their interests.

The app was built as part of the Singapore Airlines App Challenge 2023, where we were one of 10 finalist teams out of over 280 teams. The experience of working with a team to build a product and a pitch from scratch in a short time frame was incredibly rewarding and taught me a lot about product development, teamwork, presentations and communication.
